So while the girlish screaming had alerted everyone to the snakes, they still had to get them off the ship! They'd gotten as far as the deck of the ship when Calaith got the hairbrained idea to light them on fire.

Only it missed.

And somehow the water was flammable.

And the boat was so heavy in one direction that it tilted so that all the snakes slid off, Calaith along with them~

With no holes in all of that firey water for him to escape.

Oops.

At least the snakes were gone.
