Sometimes I really don't think I know what I'm doing.
Everything's all well and good when I have something to focus on. Like trying to help Inara get settled. And... even that will end soonish, when we're all finally ready to head on up out of here.
Because it's such a given that I'll just keep going. We'll freeze up in Korin but I like belonging here. Feels better than home, which is funny. Don't really remember the last time home was home. I'm going to be nineteen, and it's been years.
... Sometimes I wonder if I really am remembering the damn bastard's face right. It's all his fault, isn't it?
