... I wonder how it all went. I hope they're okay. I'm sure if they weren't, someone would say something about it. Kind of hard to get into everything here with that on my mind. Especially since everyone else didn't really seem to be thinking about it. It's so close to that anniversary thing this time too, and who knows how that will end up going ...
At least it means that Inara is settling in better than we all expected, right? And that was the real point of all of this. And it was a little fun too, trying to get everything together at the last minute. Reminded me a little of home. Emilie used to help us out with the dumplings when Mom forgot how. Told a good story too. At least until she left.
Don't know why I keep thinking of her all the time.
